Journal History

Science and Knowledge in Focus was created as a product of the "Monograph Collection Project: Divulging the Student Production," coordinated by the Eliane Leal Vasquez. The proposal was submitted for evaluation to the Undergraduate Course in Mathematics at the Federal University of Amapá, and its creation was approved on November 8, 2016. In January 2018, the UNIFAP Journals Portal published the first volume at http://periodicos.unifap.br/index.php/scienceinfocus/. In 2019, the journal received its first evaluation, "Qualis CAPES B4", by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, a foundation within the Ministry of Education in Brazil. More recently, the journal has received B3 evaluations in the areas of teaching, mathematics, and others.
